1. Conference

Asian Conference on Disaster Reduction 2022 (ACDR2022) will be held in Sendai, Japan under the theme of “WHAT IS NEXT? ⁠—Learning from the Past, Preparing for the Future⁠—”. The conference will be a hybrid conference, mainly run onsite (face-to-face) in Sendai, but will also keep the option to participate via online.

2. Online Registration (for both face-to-face and online participation)

a. Face-to-face Participation
On-site conference will be held at the above venue.

i. Medical and Overseas Travel Insurance
We ask all participants to have travel medical insurance that includes COVID-19 coverage. 

Also, any Covid-19 related tests required for entry to Japan shall be borne by the participant. 

b. Online Participation
In case traveling to Japan is restricted or inconvenient for you, you may choose to attend ACDR2022 using virtual conferencing tool Zoom. Please select “online” for the mode of participation when you register in the ACDR2022 Website.
